2005 Cadillac Seville sts
The 2005 Cadillac STS substitutes the Seville and brandishes the new styling
that elevates the classy look into a more modern appearance by using a unique
combination of sleek contours carefully melded into the curvaceous body of the
new Cadillac STS. The STS is available in two engine configurations, the 3.6-liter
V6 that is capable of bringing 255 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque available
in the rear-wheel drive. The V8 Northstar engine which produces 320 horsepower
and 315 pound-feet of torque is available in both the rear-wheel and all wheel
drive. Both engines are matched to a five-speed automatic transmission with a
manual shifting feature.

The STS is fully armed with the best and the latest computerized engine management
and variable valve timing resulting in a smoother and more responsive drive. Standard
features of the 2005 Cadillac STS V6 include leather trim, dual-zone automatic
climate control, Bose AM/FM/CD stereo, OnStar telematics, Stabilitrak electronic
stability control, automatic headlamp high-beam control, and rear park assist.
The options package include dual, eight-way power and heated front seats, a six-disc
CD changer, rain-sensing wipers, polished aluminum wheels and memory for driver's
seat, outside mirrors and steering wheel settings with satellite radio, programmable
garage door opener and eucalyptus wood interior trim as add-ons.
A more sophisticated package features heated rear seats, six-disc CD changer
with navigation system, satellite radio, wood/leather trimmed steering wheel,
power moon roof, rear spoiler, polished aluminum wheels, performance brakes, limited-slip
rear differential, tire-pressure monitor and variable assist steering. Standalone
options include a power moon roof and an engine-block heater. The V8 STS first
option offers top-level stereo and navigation system, the satellite radio, high-intensity
discharge headlamps with washers, Cadillac's Magnetic Ride Control suspension,
the wood/leather steering wheel, moon roof, tire-pressure monitor, a rear spoiler,
polished aluminum wheels, rain-sensing wipers, performance brakes and limited-slip
differential. The second option package brings unique aluminum wheels, Tuscany
leather seating surfaces, heavy-duty cooling system, variable assist steering
and W-rated Michelin tires. The all-wheel drive may be added to this option package
whereas the cruise control is available to both packages. A Performance Handling
Package with special springs and shocks is available with the rear-wheel only.
