1996 Cadillac Seville sts
One of the best features of the Cadillac Seville is its Northstar engine. The
Northstar is not just any engine; it is a powerful 4.6-liter dual overhead cam
32-valve V8 engine that pushes the front wheels of the Seville. All the other
engine and transmission controls are networked to a computer which coordinates
every function granting outstanding shift quality from the standard 4-speed 4T80-E
automatic which goes well with the 1996 Cadillac Seville's excellent acceleration
power. Braking and acceleration are closely supervised and enhanced by the newest
GM antilock braking system and traction control. 1996 brings few changes to the
Cadillac Seville STS. It still maintains the great, classy design and excellent
under-the-hood power.

For this year, Cadillac added a few safety features one is the special ignition
system that make sit impossible to lock the driver side door while the key is
in the ignition avoiding lockouts. As expected, the interior of the 1996 Cadillac
Seville STS is upholstered in the finest leather, luxurious and plush front bucket
seats and rear bench seats, add to that the Zebrano wood grain which has become
a trademark of the Cadillac Seville. The sound system has been well thought out,
offering a three different entertainment options all of which offer Bose system.
Being in the luxury department, it is expected that the Cadillac Seville will
contain a wide array of standard features. The STS trim adds dual front controls
for the automatic climate control system, power lumbar support for the front seats,
a floor-mounted shifter, a fold-down rear center armrest with cup holders, analog
instruments, heated outside mirrors and leather upholstery.
